Manager - Voice & Data Networks

Seeking a Senior Manager of Voice and Data Networks.

Position Summary:
Holds broad management responsibility for all aspects of daily operations in a voice and data-separated network environment.

Principal Responsibilities:
? Manages and coordinates the day-to-day planning, design, operations, and maintenance of the voice and date networks including client server support consistent with customer needs, organization objectives, and technological resources. Includes direction of activities of reporting manager, supervisors, analysts, and technicians.
? Leads the architectural design efforts needed to ensure a stable, redundant, and efficient voice and date network.
? May supervise (on a line or functional basis) the activities and operations of remote locations.
? Manages the vendor relationship with key network and service providers.
? Interfaces with executive management to coordinate network plans with the organization?s business plan. Includes responsibility for strategic and tactical planning.
? Develops project plans for implementation of new technology and systems.
? Directs technical analysis of complex software, hardware, and transmission systems.
? Coordinates with customers, vendors, and management. Responsible for department resource allocation.
? Assumes other responsibilities as directed.
