Marketing Programs Manager

The Bluetooth Special Interest Group seeks an experienced marketing manager who will play a major role within our Americas marketing team leading key initiatives to promote Bluetooth wireless technology both to consumers and developers. The position requires previous experience reaching the broad consumer market, as well as strong technical acumen. In this role the marketing programs manager will develop new programs from the ground-up, including setting the strategic vision, planning the program, implementation and results analysis.

 

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and drive a co-op marketing program for member/partner companiesEstablish an online marketing program to include a consumer-oriented blog, search engine marketing, banners advertising and email newslettersManage all other advertising, sponsorships and promotions for the Americas regionCreate the strategic plan for a quarterly print magazine, and deliver on planProvide strategic direction, optimization and measurement of all externally focused communications vehicles

 

Additional responsibilitiesAssistance with public relations activities in the America regionSpeaking engagements at national industry events and conferencesAssist the Sr. Manager in the creation of global marketing programsWork with the Events Manager to develop a certified trainer program

 

The qualified candidate will: Possess strong marketing, strategic thinking and analytical skillsBe an independent self-starter with demonstrated success leading virtual teams and projects to completion Demonstrate successful project management experience, and the ability to clearly identify issues, formulate recommendations, and provide resolutionPrioritize work and deliverables effectively to achieve the organizational objectivesPossess top-notch oral and written communication skills and confidence presenting to groups Be passionate about wireless technology, non-traditional marketing, and collaborative environments7+ years overall marketing experience with at least 3 years being in technology marketing
