Modem / GSM / Wireless Engineer

We are currently seeking experience consultants?in the following area. The client is not expecting to have all the skills with one individual but hand on experience in some of the areas will be a major plus.? Location is in San Diego, and the expected duration is 6+ months with potential for extension based on individual performance.?

The ideal candidate will have experience in the Wireless industry, specially hands?on experience in Modem and CDMA.? The following requirements provides the profile of the candidate we are looking for.??

Job description :

????? Architecture of WCDMA, HSDPA, HSUPA modem for cellular communications

????? Implementation of WCDMA, HSDPA, HSUPA modem in RTL

????? Define and implement modem architecture

o?????? Specification

o?????? Modeling, implementation and verification

????? Tight collaboration with System Engineering

????? Understand wireless standards towards ASIC implementation

Skills and competencies required :

????? Experience in GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS design is a must

????? ASIC design expertise

????? Modem design expertise : system, RTL implementation, verification
