NSD Data Program Manager

Description: Data products and services represent the fastest growing program within Cingular Wireless? portfolio of products and services. The NSD PMO Data Program manager will be responsible for managing the Project Managers and projects associated with the integration, launch, and augments of the products and services within Cingular Wireless? Data Core.

Responsibilities:
? Managing a group of 7 PMs insuring that they are managing their projects as efficiently and effectively as possible and setting the objectives for them to be successful
? Insuring that the Data PMs are in adherence with the PM methodologies and practices that are defined within the PMO
? Working with cross functional/organizational peers to insure that the responsible organizations are in alignment with the overall Data Program
? Managing interdependent project and resource relationships insuring that projects are aligned appropriately.
? Creating and presenting management level portfolio and executive level dashboard reports measuring the effectiveness of the Data Program
? Providing input and helping to define Project Management and System Development Life Cycle process improvements
? Insuring that the Data PMO is managed under the guidelines of PMI PMBOK program
? Taking responsibility and implementing leadership of the Data PMO to insure that projects are delivered based on desired objectives.



QUALIFICATIONS

? At least 2 to 4 years recent experience serving as a Project Manager
? At least 2 to 4 years recent experience managing Project Managers and program office.
? At least 1 to 2 years experience working with the GPRS/GSM Data core (GGSNs, SMSCs, etc.).
? Candidates experience level should be 70% PM - 30% working with GPRS/GSM
? Utilization of standard project management tools to manage projects on a go forward basis (Primavera, MS Project, etc.)
