Network Capacity Planning

TMNG Global Consulting is searching for qualified Network Capacity Planning expert consultants to assist our clients in the Telecommunications and Cable industries.

 The candidate must possess extensive Network Capacity Planning, engineering and architect experience. Experience must include Digital Voice and Internet Service capacity planning. Experienced in network traffic, including PSTN, central office, switch port capacity, Cisco/Cedar Point soft switch, and many other aspects of capacity management for high growth telecom environment.

 Required:



IP based network engineering.

Network facilities engineering

Voice Data Circuitry (DS0, T1, OC3, FE, GIGE, etc)

VoIP design, traffic engineering, performance management

Core network nodes, including all voice and IP systems. CMS, PSTN Interconnect, Switches, firewalls, servers, and other supporting equipment.

Develop performance metrics, VoIP trending and network resources

Data models and network planning algorithms, capable of capturing detailed equipment configuration rules and constraints within network planning.

Experience with hardware and software modeling, test infrastructure, test case development, performance measurement and analysis.

Provide in depth analysis to assist in the design and selection of hardware solutions based on interfacing network design criteria and growth forecasts.

Maintain monthly capacity planning reports/analysis

Technology investment planning process and identify and address potential gaps in technical solutions

Implement improvements to the capacity planning process

MS Engineering Preferred, or BS/BE Engineering, or related work.
