Network Services

Network Layer 1 testing and Special Services trouble isolation experience. Familiarity with Telcordia systems WFA and TIRKS; ability to read and interpret circuit designs/WORD documents. Hands-on experience with Special Services control center testing and facility troubleshooting procedures involving DS0, DS1, DS3, and OCn circuits. Network elements currently in use in transport network include Tellabs Titan 5500 and 532L, Fujitsu 150/600/2400 and Flashwave 4300/4500; also Adtran 2810 and Lucent AnyMedia. Ability to coordinate with multiple network and fiber providers and direct test activities to resolve service-impacting conditions. 24/7/365 center may require work after hours and on weekends.
