Professional Services Engineer

Our client is looking for a professional engineer to provide post-sales services and support for its industry leading Mobile Application Form, Fuel. The individual in this position must have the ability to work with customers under a variety of circumstances to understand their issues, address their issues and meet or exceed their expectations.

Primary Responsibilities Manage new customer deployments Manage customized professional services engagements Participate in all aspects of the customer implementation life cycle, including but not limited to, gathering/analyzing customer's business and technical requirements and managing the customer through their implementation Responsible for strategic project task deliverables with high levels of quality and customer satisfaction Accessing risk and developing contingency plans Managing customer expectations, keeping customers happy and expectations realistic Providing leadership to cross-functional project teams Interfacing directly with members of of product development, product management, operations, management, etc. within the Motricity organization Guiding the customer through the client's Change Control Process Communicating status, issues and risks to project stakeholdersRequired SkillsBS/MS in Engineering (MBA desired but not required) 5+ years of overall experience in high-tech software or hardware companies; 2+ years of direct development or design experience on software and or hardware projects 5+ years in Project Management A proven track record of managing customer's through a project lifecycle First-hand experience with all stages of product development life-cycle from requirements gathering to release Skilled at Customer Expectation Management Excellent communication skills with past successes in working across organizations to implement large-scale projects including working with technology/engineering, product management/marketing, business development/sales, services and customer support/operations Experience with the internet/mobile internet technologies and or mobile telcom technologies preferred Strong oral, written and presentation skills Strong organizational skills Ability to assess customer needs and define solutions Must be a self starter with strong problem solving skills
