JOB SUMMARY:
The program manager is a principle contributor responsible for coordinating the development activities of Watertown,MA. development office. The primary duties of this organization revolve around coordinating the scheduling efforts of development planning, development, documentation, QA and release delivery of all products on the m-Qube roadmap. This person will interface not only with development, but with product management, documentation and release engineering. All scheduling conflicts will be negotiated by this position between all of the entities involved in the delivery process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
?Coordinate activities of the developers with the needs of product
management and client business development.
?Receive marketing requirements from product marketing and translate the feature
sets into deliverable schedule requirements for engineering, documentation, QA
and release engineering
.Coordinate the triages between the various organizations for bug repair and
tracking
.Along with release engineering, coordinate release schedule for various
timeframes on the delivery schedule
?Maintain the ?master schedule? for delivery of product, notifying the Director of
Program Management (Boston) and VP of Product Management of potential slips in the
schedules.
?Maintain functional specifications to be handed off to engineering
?Learn fast, work independently, and handle multiple simultaneous projects

QUALIFICATIONS
?5+ years of program management experience with successful track record
?5+ years in the high tech industry - preferably working in an ASP environment
?Excellent writing and verbal communications skills
?Mastery of industry-standard scheduling tools and processes
?Extensive experience building program management infrastructure
?Experience with .NET and/or J2EE systems is a plus
?Comfort with Windows NT Server/2000/XP and UNIX environments
?Previous experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment
?Passion for technology and gadgets

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
?BA/BS in computer science or technical related field.
?Experience in technical documentation would be considered a plus

LANGUAGE SKILLS
?Technical language proficiency must be demonstrated.
