GuideWorks is a market leader in the creation of guidance and navigation systems for digital home entertainment. We are part of the Comcast family of companies and exist as a joint venture between Comcast and TV Guide. We have a rich history in creating interactive guidance and navigation systems for digital cable, with endless enhancements and product development driven by consumer research.

Position Summary:

The Program Manager will focus on driving the critical decisions necessary to direct GuideWorks projects to an on-time completion.

Major Duties:


Project management of the sprint backlog and delivery utilizing Scrum methodology

Lead and facilitate cross-functional Scrum teams

Identify problems and manage project risks

Maintain external coordination and communication with partners

Multi-task and switch between a variety of different projects

Provide technical and product support to other organizations within the company

Provide project projection and status reports as required

Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. Robust relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a related degree.

3-5 years program management and/or system engineering experience of large-scale software systems

One year experience in a Scrum environment.

Participation in large-scale system or product development projects

Project scheduling

Strong problem solving and fact finding skills

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Proven success with cross-group collaboration

2-3 years cable television or digital cable industry experience desired

Light travel required; short trips as frequent as monthly.
