DESCRIPTION:
The Programmer Analyst has responsibility for technical development, implementation and support of Netopia products. Assignments vary depending on product mix and customer requirements but typically involve software installation, analysis, and programming (see technical qualifications).
Additional responsibilities include consultation and training of internal technical, marketing and sales teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: BS in Computer Science, or comparable experience.
Technical Qualifications:
? At least 4 years hands on experience in Unix environments, including Sun Solaris and Linux OS (optional)

? At least 4 years applications programming experience with Progress or Oracle database systems.
? Applications programming experience with web server technologies including XML, HTML, HTTP/S and Web Services protocol.
? Applications programming experience with Javascript and Java, JSP (optional)
