Project Manager for Industry Leading Mobile Wireless Company

Our client, a widely recognized and acclaimed name in the mobile wireless space is looking for a seasoned, groomed, Professional Services Project Manager to join their team for a 6 month contract consulting role to help ?ramp up? a new division.

 

Scope of the role:

Work in conjunction with client facing Account Mangers, clients, and development/delivery team to manage the delivery process of a technical project or product from approval phase to launch and ensure a successful delivery measured by time, cost, and client satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities of this position may include:
Ensure well-defined requirements are derived from the product and customer requirements. Including ensuring that the deliverables of the project are clearly understood ? scope management
Work with the Professional Services business team and customer to ensure that what is agreed to in the SOW is achievable
Ensure the project team knows the inputs required by the project and the outputs the project will produce
Drive the individual project teams via weekly reports and reviews and, where needed, more detailed interaction. Ensure that the software development deliveries to product verification take place as agreed
Analyze and manage the risks to the project including mitigation and contingency plans
Ensure that the developed software is properly deployed in a production environment

Qualified candidates will possess:
PMP Certification
BSBM, BSCS, or related degree preferred
10+ years of career experience with a solid progression through the ranks to Project Manager
5+ years of industry experience (mobile technology, project management within the mobile computing/content space)
Software Project Management experience in a hosted web application, .net, or e-commerce environment
Ability to Manage and oversee the full SDLC deployment
Dynamic personality that is patient, outgoing, adaptable, and a strong leader
