Quality Supervisor – An eye for detail, production and supervisory skills are a plus!

Our client is a leading provider of logistics, maintenance, customization and after-sales services for Telecommunication and Multimedia products in Europe and North America.
This multinational company in Libertyville seeks a Quality Supervisor.

As a Quality Supervisor, the candidate will direct and coordinate quality inspection of parts, components and materials produced by subcontractors and vendors. The Quality Supervisor will also oversee contractors’ manufacturing processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

- Prepare periodic and special reports concerning departmental activities, problems, OEM’s quality system, schedules and rejected items.
- Direct sampling inspection and testing of received parts, components and materials to determine conformance to standards.
- Directly supervise 23 to 26 employees in Quality Control/Post Quality Control.
- Training employees & appraising performance.
- Planning, assigning and directing work.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Education and experience requirements:

- Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school;
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel
