RF Engineer III

Provide support to the Central Region Operations team in the areas of project coordination, data analysis, process improvement, and vendor/supplier management. Provide centralized support in order to ensure that all E911 compliance standards are in place, and adhered to, within the Central Region.

Primary Functions
? Process improvement. Assist regional functions in developing and improving new and existing process initiatives.
? Report management. Track, coordinate, and distribute reports that support adherence to federal regulations and timetables.
? Data analysis. Incorporate and provide data that assists in directing market activity, leading to regional E911 compliance.
? Vendor management. Coordinate and direct vendor activities and services, to support the needs of regional and market organizations.
? Drive certification coordination. Act as regional liaison to national and market project managers, to ensure E911 federal accuracy standards.
? Website administration. Design and oversee the look-and-feel of the department intranet website. Also, administer access for modifying site content.



QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
4 -6 years experience
? A minimum of two years experience in the wireless/telecom industry.
? Possesses a working knowledge of E911 processes, relating to PSAP deployment.
? Exhibits strong project management and process management skills.
? Has understanding of database structure basics; able to map data between disparate database systems.
? Must have excellent organizational skills; able to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
? Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
? Must be able to skillfully use computer database, spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
? Is a proven self-starter; able to work with minimal supervision, and as a team player.

This position is classified as a driving position. Must have a valid driver?s license and satisfactory driving record and meet the minimum requirements of the Cingular Wireless Driving policy.
