RVP - Network Operations

Plan, Organize & direct the process, of the Fixed & Field Network Engineering, RF Engineering.  Manage the leasing, zoning, construction, deployment and optimization of the regional area BTA?s encompassing a population base.  Responsible for continuing growth and operations of the regional system. Manage the negotiations of all vendors for the region.

Strong skill level in leadership,  building workforce diversity, and communication to keep the Engineering and Operations department functionally sound and effective.

Are you capable and experienced in accepting the following responsibilities? 

 

Develop, organize, recruit & hire the Network Operations department to include Fixed Engineering, Field Operations, RF Engineering & Project Management staff to enable the successful deployment of a PCS 3G-1XRTT network providing coverage for approximately 4 million people in the Georgia region.

 

Develop policies and procedures to insure the successful deployment and maintenance of a PCS 3G-1XRTT network by maintaining an acceptable G.O.S. (grade of service).

 

Establish budget requirements based on policy set forth by Upper Management.

 

Evaluate, assign, counsel, and train subordinates to achieve high productivity, build professional confidence, and reward for outstanding performance.

Here is the education and experience we are looking for:

 

BSEE or equivalent work experience, minimum 10 years wireless network experience to include a combination of 5 years of Fixed Network and RF design.
