Regional Marketing Manager - Bellevue, WA

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
? Initiate, develop, coordinate and implement regional marketing plans and programs for major retail customers and related retail accounts including:
? Developing effective marketing strategies and tactics
? Identifying new business development opportunities and programs,
? Providing marketing support and program management,
? Evangelizing the vision and mission,
? Support product launch and promotions activities,
? Sales support request for market knowledge and customer presentations
? Develop and deliver promotional materials and events to generate customer demand.
? Manage and direct regional marketing efforts to support new marketing initiatives.
? Maintain close and frequent working relationship with STA sales, product management and STA marketing support to optimize sell thru initiatives.
? Participate in development of regional customer specific strategies, including leadership and participation on account management team.
? Represent STA in partnerships with outside advertising or media related firms in the creation of STA, customer and product related images to optimize sales and maximize customer product orders within the retail channel.
? Serve as primary STA marketing interface to regional specific major retail customer?s product marketing, marketing communications, and public relations teams.
? Manage market development and cooperative development budget and expenditures for major retail accounts.
? Prepare account management, progress, expenditure, and other related reports as directed by management.
? Competitive analysis and ROI management
? Responsible for gathering, analysis, formatting and reporting of monthly activity for each product.
? Monitor and evaluate and report on the competitive environment. Formulate tactics to anticipate and respond to the competition.

 

Background/Experience required:
? Bachelors Degree, preferably in Marketing, Business from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience in the telecommunications industry.
? Should have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a retail channel marketing program management capacity with P&L responsibility and a successful track record of direct program and channel development, logistics and distribution management, and long-term customer contact and relationship building.
? Experience in business development and executive sales responsibility with major US carrier.
? Strong project management and multi-tasking skills. 
? Experience researching and resolving customer marketing and sales issues.
? Experience developing marketing and sales presentations using a variety of presentation methods, including PC applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, and graphic arts software.

? Plan, organize and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.
? Read and interpret marketing documents, media materials and contracts or related documents based on corporate legal and marketing standards and philosophy.
? Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for internal and external personnel at all levels, especially in sales and marketing, logistical or financial areas of both clients, prospects, and company.
? Work independently and in a team environment, in order to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames.
? Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal more than 25% of work time.
? Physically make product marketing presentations or demonstrations to customers, internal and external groups using verbal and graphics communication modes.
? Travel to customer locations, trade shows, etc. requires approximately 25% of time.
