Title: Senior Consultant ? Wireless Telecommunications Training

 

 Responsibilities: Training Learn new topics in preparation for delivering training classes. Deliver training classes at client facilities and in public forums.Research Research new technologies Follow the evolution of technologiesCourseware Development Learn new topics in preparation to develop new course material Develop new course material Improve existing courses by ensuring correctness, completeness, and timeliness Customize course material to meet client needs Leverage existing course material by finding new markets and new combinations of courses to address new audiences

 

Technical Areas (knowledge in many of the following is a plus): Wireless Air Interface Technologies: GSM, CDMA, UMTS Wireless Data and Wireless Internet: GPRS, EDGE, 1xEV-DO, UMTS Emphasis in OFDM is a plus. Internet Telephony: SIP, H.248/Megaco, RTP Wireless Networking Protocols: IS-41, GSM-MAP Telecommunications Technologies: ISDN, SS7, T1, E1,  SONET Data Communications Technologies: Frame Relay, ATM, MPLS Internetworking: TCP/IP, QoS, VPNs, IP Switching, Network Security Operation of Communications Products: Routers, Hubs, Switches, Wireless Network Infrastructure, Soft Switches

D. preferredExperience ? Minimum 5 years related experience + Bachelor?s degree: Design or testing experience in a wireless telecom or data communication position Network deployment, operation, or new product introduction experience in a cellular operator position Network deployment, operation, or new product introduction experience with a Internet Telephony Service ProviderPrevious training experience desirable but not required If 5 years previous experience is not met, a Master?s degree is required.
