Senior IT Analyst

Major client in Pasadena seeks a Sr. IT Analyst to join their team. Position will be responsible for managing the LAN and Application Server Environment. Assume responsibility for assigned system and application administration and hardware. Achieve advanced knowledge of assigned applications. Ensure Service Level Agreements are met.

-Assume responsibility for assigned systems and application Administration.
-Possess advanced Administration knowledge and proactively managed assigned administration.
-Have advanced knowledge and assume responsibility for assigned hardware.
-Assume responsibility for assigned Applications. Achieve advanced knowledge to provide advanced customer support both locally and remotely.
-Anticipate, monitor and re-evaluate adequate inventory of necessary equipment, parts, supplies and material needs.
-Complete assigned internal control activities.
-Teams with coworkers and IT experts and customers
-Maintains excellent customer service skills.
-Works with team to implement IT related capital projects.
-Ensure software license compliance.
-Be involved in / aware of assigned lease and maintenance agreements.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL SETS REQUIREMENTS
-2-4 years network administration experience
-Bachelor degree or higher
-Certifications a plus.
-Advanced knowledge of: switched Ethernet, Windows AD, Windows 2000-2003 server, SMS, SQL server, TCPIP, Lotus Notes/Domino server, Cisco switch configuration, Windows XP, Veritas Backup Exec v9.1.
-Able to provide support for all shifts locally or remotely. Off hours support if required.
-Ability to complete IT Project Proposal and/or action plan and follow through to conclusion.
-Good to have: Avaya PBX, Octel voice mail, IIS, Clustering, Unix application server, VMS.
