Senior Manufacturing Engineer

As Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will have primary responsibility for the manufacture of a new line of Video Communication products. Specific responsibilities include:

 Work with the development team to transfer new products from R&D into production. This involvement will include finding the most effective technologies and vendors through which custom parts are sourced, working with Product Development and Mechanical Engineering to develop the most cost effective and methods of manufacturability for producing custom parts. Serving as the primary interface between development and our offshore manufacturing facility. Responsible for insuring that our components and products are manufactured according to schedule. This includes implementing ongoing improvements in manufacturing and maintenance on production prototype builds. Responsibility for generating manufacturing documentation including SOP?s, records and protocolsOverseas travel is a requirement of this position. (Approximately 25%)

 

Qualifications:

 8+ years of experience in a high volume, electronic manufacturing environment. Experience developing process controls, monitors and feedback systems to assure quality in the manufacturing process.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as a member of a small team. Desire to work in a fast paced environment, developing cutting edge technologies.Process and tooling knowledge desiredUndergraduate Degree required, Graduate degree preferred, or equivalent years of industry experience considered.
