Senior Manufacturing Process Quality Engineer

Quality & Customer-focused Company is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Process Quality Engineer to lead us to the next level of quality performance.

 

Education/Experience:

-  Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field required.  Master?s degree desired.

-  ASQ Quality Certification or 6 Sigma Black Belt desired

-  10 years minimum experience in quality or manufacturing preferably in the electronics industry with a strong process orientation.

-  Ability to apply statistical quality tools to implement a systematic approach to preventative quality.

-  Quality improvement results utilizing problem solving methodologies such as 8D, Six Sigma, PFMEA, etc.

-  Proven ability to lead a cross-functional team to a common goal, typically driving to root cause of a quality issue.

-  Customer and supplier interface experience ? ideally experience driving improvement at contract manufacturers.

-  Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work across cultures and organizations.

-  Demonstrated experience with the requirements of an ISO quality standard

-  Experience with DFQ and NPI.

-  Ability to partner with a strong team of quality engineers to make quality a competitive weapon.
