JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Senior Network Systems Engineer - Cisco IPC is a pre-sales specialist supporting the sale of Cisco products and 3rd party products that are complimentary to Cisco. The NSE technically supports the selling activities of the sales organization, and assists in the selection, specification, and presentation of the complete line of products. Support of selling activities may include delivering customer presentations, product webinars, and marketing event support.

 

This position is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Cisco Unified Communications and related products. The NSE maintains up-to-date knowledge on VoIP and is regarded as a technical/functional convergence expert with knowledge of traditional TDM based networks as well as IP Communications.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates should have design and installation experience, the ability to understand technical and selling situations, and the ability to solve complex problems. Candidates must possess an in-depth understanding of, and be conversant about, Cisco convergence technologies, solutions, and products.

 

REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 5 years of experience in the networking industry, a technical degree, or equivalent prior job experience in network engineering. Cisco CCNP/CCDP/CCVP or advanced voice certifications are highly required. Desired certifications include:
