The Comcast retail channel operations team is responsible for the day to day processing of orders from Comcast's retail/e-tail partners. The team's mission is to maximize the conversion of these orders into installed customers. Key focus areas of the team are on continuous process improvement and in collecting metrics to better understand and improve overall operational effectiveness. The Sr. Operations analyst is a key member of the operational team with specific duties as defined below.


MAJOR DUTIES: (May perform any or all of the following duties.)

Regularly monitor the quality of third party vendors and partners ensuring that all processes are followed in a timely manner.

Ensure that work/escalated issues are addressed and completed in a timely manner and that delays/revised timeframes are communicated to affected parties.

Work as the escalations liaison between third parties and Comcast team

Maintain all web based intranet applications ensuring functionality and escalate any issues to appropriate parties

Develop enhancements to current web based tools used by the third party vendors

Perform root cause analysis of metrics to determine reasons for escalations and recommend efficiency improvements

Leverage stakeholder input to define, develop and communicate procedures and standards for Indirect Channel Operations

Develop both executive level and operational level documentation and communications

Provide ad-hoc reporting analysis and assistance

Provide leadership support to other team members and contacts, facilitating resolution of operational issues and problems.

Self-management of medium complexity projects throughout life cycle.

Other duties as assigned

Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience.

Two to five years database management experience

Strong PC skills a must: Excel, MicroSoft Office Suite, MicroSoft Project

Must possess strong analytical skills.

Must be very detailed oriented

Ability to deal with all levels of people effectively

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

25% travel required

Knowledge of Cable Industry a plus.
