Position Summary

Successful candidate will join the rapidly growing Polatis team in delivering products which will change the face of optical communications in a variety of industries.

 

Primary responsibility will be selling Polatis products  into key telecommunications accounts in North America. Additionally, the candidate may be required to support sales efforts in the optical test and measurement market . 2-3 positions are available, with 1 position specializing in test & measurement markets.

Salary:  Salary will be commensurate with experience & competitive with industry

Principal Duties:

? 7-10 years experience selling products to telecommunications service providers and/or equipment manufacturers.

? An extensive network established within the telecommunications and/or test and measurement market place

? Good working knowledge of telecommunications networks and architectures

? Ability to work independently/remotely with minimal supervision

? Successful track record of introducing new products to marketDemonstrable record of meeting/exceeding sales goals

? Excellent written and presentation skills

? Able to work in cross-functional environments

? Willingness to ?do what it takes? to help accomplish overall team objectives

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Candidate Profile:

? BS degree in a related discipline; Technical background preferred

? Previous telecommunications and fiber optics experience a must

? Broad knowledge of industry standards and procedures

? Excellent communications skills

? Able to sell into all levels of an organization

? Flexible & adaptable, as part of a small high calibre team

? Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.

? Extensive domestic travel required; some international travel
