Senior Switch Installer and Supervisor

Amatel, Inc. is a telecommunications engineering and professional services company located in Los Angeles that has been providing design, engineering, implementation, optimization, and management services to the telecommunications industry since 1998.  We are seeking a qualified Senior Switch Installer and Supervisor to fulfill responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

 Perform/Supervise switch installations in multiple locationsPerform equipment audit after installation is complete and review personnel work productAssist Management with preparing quotesPrepare and generate Method of Procedures (MOPs)Send project reports to ManagementDocument and track project issues, progress and completion in company databasePerform material inventories and switch final acceptanceTrain new installers and give technical advice on job related problemsOther switch installation/supervision duties as may be required by Management

 

Qualified applicants will possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

 

? A Bachelor?s degree in technical or creative course of study, or equivalent experience

? 3-5+  years of GSM telecom hardware implementation experience

? Good knowledge of Ericsson AXE switch equipment

? 2+ years of project supervision and people management experience

? Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills

? Good knowledge of Productivity Tools such as MS Office, MS Project, etc.

? Must be proficient at operating laptop computers, digital cameras

? Excellent coordination skills required
