Senior System Integration and Test Tools Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

The Senior System Integration and Test Tools Engineer is responsible for development of testing tools used to automate system integration and test activities associated with development of WiMAX mobile subscriber stations and base station network infrastructure.  Tool development includes design, implementation, validation, and maintenance phases for multiple tools.  These tools enable test automation for RF, PHY, MAC, and application layer services based on inputs of test plans and test cases from the I&T department.  This engineer is involved in design reviews for diagnostic monitor and testability requirements to aid in I&T automation coverage.

 

Skills and Experience required for this position: 5+ years of experience with System Integration and Test of wireless communication devices.  Familiar with industry standard test plan development, lab setups, test execution, and debugging.Minimum 2 years of experience with test case automation.Design of automation testing tools for system integration using C/C++, Perl, Python, TcL, Java, VisualBasic, or LabView/VEEPro.  COM DLL, socket-based tools, and GUI application development experience highly desirable.Experience with Linux OS is desirable.Also experienced with product embedded software development a plus.Experience with RF, PHY, MAC, and application layer services for one or more wireless datacom/telecom standards.  Experience with VoIP a plus.Some lab experience with test equipment including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, protocol analyzer, etc.BS (Computer Eng., E.E., or CompSci) required.  MSEE desired.
