Callis Communications has been a gulf coast based business since 1999; Customers include 70 percent of the local hospitals, fire departments and emergency management services in the area.  Callis is also a facility based Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (Telephone Company), VoIP carrier, and paging carrier.  Callis has experienced explosive growth through Hosted PBX which combines telephone service, long distance, PBX, high speed internet into one simple service called Voicepath.

Qualifications:

?  Excellent track record of adhering to schedule and attendance requirements.

?  Conducting customer site surveys and assisting sales with the understanding the customer?s current applications and future needs.

?  Completes all necessary paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.

?  Demonstrates strong work ethic. Uses time productively to accomplish challenging work goals. Develops efficient work methods.

?  Have excellent organizational skills. Keeps files and work area organized. Maintains historical reference and records data.

?  Manages time effectively and prioritizes completing task to meet deadlines.

?  Knowledge of the telecommunications industry, outside planet and central office technologies, and knowledge of product and services.

?  Superior knowledge of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of DSL and other telecommunications circuits. Basic Knowledge of Networking LAN/WAN, TCP/IP protocols, etc. Experience with both testing both digital and analog circuits.

?  Ability for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and growing the VoIP Platform which consist of various vendors including Cisco and TEKELEC.

?  Ability to install/troubleshoot various categories of inside wiring, termination skills and cross connects.

?  Cisco Certifications is preferred

?  Basic feature of PBX knowledge

 

Position Requirements:

?  Bachelors Degree preferred

?  Minimum 1 year of experience in Telecommunications

?  Excellent communications and organizational skills
