Service Producer

The Service Producer works within the Service Planning department, which develops and maintains the services for wireless carrier clients. The producer will be responsible for supporting the Service Manager in the seven key areas of managing the client?s products and services: content management, user interface planning / information architect, user interface testing and test case development, business analysis, marketing, project management, and service data analysis.
The ideal candidate should enjoy product development, service implementation and maintenance, as well as be multi-talented in order to operate comfortably in the seven key areas.
The candidate will have strong producer / project management skills, experienced in the product development process, working with or as part of a user interface design team, as well a close working relationship with technical teams as a liaison or team member. Preferably has an overall understanding of programming languages (html, jsp, java, C, C++), and the keen awareness of the integral relationship between design and programming in product development.
The candidate will have experience in a majority of the key areas, especially with respect to user interface planning / information architect (minimum: Web; ideally WAP and IVR as well) and content management (ideally: music). The candidate should have superior time management and analytical skills, is a quicker learner as well as an interest in learning new skills/technologies, be very detail-oriented, self-motivated, creative, highly organized, and have interest in the music and wireless industries.
Responsibilities: supporting in the following seven key areas
Primary:
User Interface Planning / Information Architect
? Develop overall user experience, user/work flows, navigational hierarchy, and interaction and functional design (wire frames)
? Provide design and usability recommendations to the client and internal developers
Content Management
? Collection of content from corporate and other aggregators
? Implements new content uploads, updates and changes
? Manages the quality and implementation of content
? Supports corporate activities such as aggregation, contracts and creation
Testing
? Experience in UI functional testing (Web ? minimum; WAP and IVR - ideal)
? Knowledge of test case development:
? Write, review, and edit test cases and scripts against all requirements
? Write clear and concise bug reports
Business Analysis
? Understanding client?s requirements
? Analyze the impact on development, company and user, and then derive the best solution for client & WTA
? Projections, ROI, account revenue settlement and other account management support activities
Project Management
? Scheduling
? Budgeting
? Client relations / presentations
Secondary:
Service Analysis
? Mining for statistics defined by client relationship
? Analysis of statistics in a daily and monthly manner
? Develops reports for client presentation based on statistics
Marketing
? Develop marketing strategies to increase clip sales and subscribers
? Pitch marketing strategies to the client
? Assist with the implementation of marketing strategies
Required Skills / Qualifications
- BA/BS degree with a major in business, communications or other closely related field.
- 2-3 years in a producer / project management role in Internet, software, wireless or closely related field.
- Full understanding of the product development life cycle.
- Extensive experience in at least three of the seven areas along with producing/project management background: User Interface Planning, Content Management, UI Testing, Data/Stats Analysis, Business Analysis, or Marketing.
- Prefer strong background in user interface planning (Web ? minimum; ideally WAP and IVR as well) using Visio, PowerPoint or other tools. Ability to create flows, mock-ups and architectural UI diagrams.
- Prefer content management experience, including collection of content, uploading, updates and changes via a content tool, and supporting aggregation, contracting and creation.
- User interface testing experience, including writing cases / scripts against all requirements, functional testing, and writing detailed bug reports for Web (WAP and IVR ? desired as well).
- Business analysis experience in the areas of projections, ROI, account revenue settlement and impact of requirements on development and corporate strategy.
- Stats Analysis experience with respect to gathering, interpreting, and reporting to the client.
- Marketing experience with respect to developing creative strategies to increase subscribers.
- Knowledge of the graphic design process and ideally graphic design software.
- Knowledge/understanding of programming languages.
- Experience in, and/or understanding of, mobile carrier / wireless business (especially the understand of Web, WAP and IVR technologies)
- Extensive experience with MS Visio, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel (Access a bonus), with thorough knowledge of other standard office software applications including MS Word, Outlook, etc; Design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and PageMaker a bonus.

- Interest in the music industry and music/sound content.
- Willingness and enthusiasm to learn and take on new things on a regular basis.

- Experience with advanced database management (Access, etc)
