Job Description:
The Site Acquisition Manager (SAM) is responsible for the management of the site selection, leasing and zoning activities as well as the information facilitation required for the wireless sites assigned to their direct reports. The SAM may be required to manage outside vendors. The SAM will be required to assist in the hiring of SAS, LS & ZS (together 'SAS') and will be responsible for providing mentoring and training to SAS. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Represent company in a positive manner to the Client. Train SAS in all aspects of company process and procedure for site acquisition. Assign sites to SAS and manage the workload ratios of the site acquisition team. Administer company Leasing and Zoning Procedures for the Project. Develop and adapt additional leasing and zoning procedures as necessary for the specific project. Review and approve site candidates prior to submission to the Client. Prioritize sites for the SAS in accordance with the leasing, zoning, construction, RF engineering and Client criteria. Schedule regular site status meetings with each SAS. Provide guidance to and occasionally assist the SAS with respect to all aspects of site acquisition, including negotiation tactics. Review and approve lease terms with SAS before submission to the Client. Review and approve zoning filings before submission to jurisdictions. Provide site updates and milestones projections to the Project Manager on a regular basis. Ensure that company standards are continually reinforced among the LS. Monitor the performance of the SAS and provide continuous training for deficiencies. Administer approved incentive plans and/or disciplinary actions. Review timesheets for conformance with company?s expense policy. Perform all the duties of any SAS as required on a given project. Receive training from Senior Site Acquisition Manager for advancement. Facilitate communication and coordinate ?handoffs? to other disciplines.


Job Qualifications:Possess same qualifications as LM and ZM and high level of proficiency working with forms, timelines, organizational charts and trackers Proficient in Microsoft Office Understanding of Outlook and the Internet

Education and/or Experience:
A college degree is not required, but preferred. Must have a Real Estate Sales or Brokers License and at least one year of experience in wireless site acquisition with experience in both leasing and zoning of sites. A degree in urban planning, environmental planning or law is preferred.
