Specialist - Video Network Operations

Position Responsibilities:Monitor SeaChange services for stability and successful splicingMonitor content ingest and copy performance across the long haul networkIdentify application or network problems related to Ad Insertion successIdentify possible hardware failure/corruptionInterface with Tier II Ad Insert support supervisor for failure identificationInterface with Seachange help desk to troubleshoot equipment failureMonitor all Al services during any maintenance activityRun reports/tools identifying possible problems for real time analysisInsure verification logs are successfully relayed to ViamediaOngoing validation of technical as run ratesOngoing validation of proper long haul network path (VCDN)Ongoing validation of connection to ViamediaEscalate problems/questions up to Network Services Management/National Operations

Required Skills and Experience:Minimum 2 years Networking knowledge/experienceMinimum 2 years of operations and application monitoring Minimum 3 years of communication and writing skillsMS Excel and MSWord skillsAudio/Video experienceStrong Video Background in a Broadcast environment such as television, cable etc.

Desired Skills and Experience:Master Control/Seachange experience and ad Insertion experience Associates/Bachelors of Science degree Strong DOS Command Line work
