GVTC has a full time opening for an Accounts Receivable Supervisor in our Smithson Valley office.  This position will be part of the talented and highly innovative Customer Care department.  We are a fast paced and leading edge telecommunications company.  GVTC is the largest telecommunications cooperative in Texas with offices located in the beautiful Hill Country.  We service 40,000+ customers/members and our products include telephone, cable TV, Internet service and security systems.

 

This position will perform supervisory duties required to maintain an efficient Accounts Receivable department and ensure that collection processes are properly implemented.  We seek an applicant with telephone tariff and PUC regulation?s knowledge as it pertains to Accounts Receivable.  The ideal candidate will have 5 plus years working in collections with a minimum of 3 years proven track record in a supervisory capacity. Experience in all aspects of bad debt write-offs, collection procedures, NSF check processes and bankruptcies a must.  The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills, high energy level and the ability to tackle multiple work assignments.
