Technical Services Manager

 

Summary

Responsible for customer service, technical support, shipping, receiving and order fulfullment in support of SkyMate?s global satellite data service.  Requires bachelor?s degree and five to seven years of relevant experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

? Responsible for managing customer service and technical support staff, maintaining the highest service standards. 

? Develop procedures and processes and ensure consistent application for delivery of quality products. 

? Manage escalation of customer service and technical support issues for customer service issues. Ensure issues are resolved in timely manner and solutions are documented in CRM database.

?  Serve as primary interface to an outsourced call center providing after-hours and overflow phone support service.

? Manage IT and telco equipment and services, and engineering lab facilities for company use.

? Responsible for acceptance testing, packaging and order fulfillment for SkyMate products shipped to dealers and customers. 

 

Essential Education, Skills and Environment

 

Education and Work Experience

Bachelor's degree required.  Requires five or more years of experience in closely related experience in telecommunications or wireless company. 

 

Additional Qualifications

Familiarity with CRM tools and wireless technology desirable.  Strong time management, written and verbal communications skills. Professional appearance and presentation required.
