About the Position

Answer or solve trouble calls over the telephone from dealer technicians and end users.Routinized service requests that do not require an on site techinician to solve the problem.Example paper jams, no power, will not fax, phone line problems. Resolve the problem by determining what parts if any are needed. Order the correct part and send it to the dealer techinician, service tech or end user.Initates MRA returns and orders parts or equipment as deemed necessary by the situation.Repairs equipment that is returned on an MRA / AV / CN.Enter service calls in the Focus system / Send to correct service techinician. Input parts orders to focus for dealers.Verify part numbers and price. Print CDs for Techinical Manuals and Operation Manuals.Support Multi functional Devices. Copier,printer,scanner,and facsimile. PC applications for color and black and white copiers. Evaluate network applications, software and network communications troubleshoot problems.

 

Qualifications

2-5 years progressively complex experience in a technician role. Excellent communication skills. Service attitude. Proficiency on PC platforms and MS software. At least 1 year experience with NEC 2000/2400 and/or equivalent experience in a technician role troubleshooting NEC products, services, etc (i.e. NEC PBX and voicemail, AD-120, SV7000, OpenWorX, Q-Master). VOIP experience highly desirable.
