Telecom Systems Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

?  Install and Maintain Contact Center and Corporate PBX/ACD hardware and software.

?  Design and configure PBX/ACD functionality.

?  Install and Provision Telecom and Data Communication Circuits.

?  Manage and maintain positive relationships with key telecommunications vendors.

?  Key role in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementations.

?  Act as lead designer for Automated Call Distribution (ACD) requirements and projects.

?  Maintain and upgrade CTI implementations.

?  Perform special client specific projects in support of the customer?s voice and data networks.

?  Must have strong documentation skills and be well organized to track all processes and programming procedures, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

?  Develop operating procedures for Telecom and CTI maintenance and support.

?  Manage telecommunications maintenance agreements.

?  Adhere to all Datatrac policies and procedures.

?  Other duties and assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

? Knowledge of and experience with Avaya PBX/ACD installation and maintenance.  Avaya certifications a big plus!

? Experience working with and/or implementing CTI applications

? Knowledge of data communications networking techniques.

? Possibility of 35% travel.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively to all levels of management.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

? Ability to calculate basic math.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

? Strong general knowledge of computers and software.
