Commerce Bank currently seeks an experienced Telecommunications Technician to support our Harrisburg, PA Call Center.

 

Chosen candidate will provide Voice Communications system support to the Commerce network, including user support, trouble shooting, enhancements and special projects, and promotes the positive aspects of automation and change. Maintains log, tracks and resolves systems problems and provides maintenance of specific products such as Northern PBS and Octel Voice Mail. Makes recommendations to improve maintenance and performance of the Voice Communications network. Gathers and analyzes data for developing and improving telecommunications systems maintenance. Performs backups and assists in the administration and maintenance of all PBX and Voice Mail systems.

 

Requirements include:High school education or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year's telecommunications experience. Computer literate with basic knowledge of communications hardware, software and products. Detail-oriented with good conceptual and analytical skills. Ability to perform independently and as a team member. Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to move equipment such as printers, phone consoles, etc. Willingness to travel to PBX locations when needed. Ability to work additional hours when needed.
