We are an entrepreneurial company on a fast growth track and are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and highly motivated Knowledge Associate to work in our Indianapolis office with the Knowledge Operations team.

 

Telecom managers, directors and other end users are continually looking for ways to improve their telecom environment. They are looking for answers that will improve efficiency and reduce costs.  Telecom Solution Center has positioned itself to be the largest and best provider of first class telecom management information, education and knowledge.  Our services are provided to small businesses spending $10,000 per month on their telecom services to large global organizations spending more than $20 million per month.

 

We sell information, education and knowledge products and services to end users of telecom services.  Our products and services include telecom management training workshops, eLearning courses, knowledge bases, certification programs, telecom service inventories and telecom environment assessments which include usage policy development, service inventory builds, contract reviews, process improvements and other recommendations to improve the efficiency of their telecom environment.

 

The Knowledge Associate is responsible for instructing telecommunications management courses, bootcamps and online eLearning courses; developing original courseware and knowledge base content; researching industry topics supporting all learning initiatives; and, identifying business growth opportunities.

 

Course instruction includes content development and leading educational events that support learning for corporate telecom and technology directors, managers and analysts.  Topics of telecom learning include inventory management, invoice audit, cost containment, budget management, contract management, negotiations, request for proposal development, project management, dispute resolution, voice and data technology management, and disaster recovery planning.  The scope of training encompasses local, long distance, wireless and data network services.  Original content developed by the Knowledge Associate is used to support learning and knowledge products, professional certification programs and various publications.

 

The Knowledge Associate has the following responsibilities:

 Lead and instruct 8-10 live courses per monthSupport the development and evolution of knowledge, information and certification programsParticipate as a co-trainer and back-up trainer for all educational eventsParticipate in telecom industry user groups and forums to perform market research, source topical information and create awareness of the organizationIdentify, research and acquire telecommunications-centric content to evolve, enhance and support all courseware and knowledge productsSupport best practice process documentation for all coursesContribute original content to various industry publicationsMonitor industry issues and activities that affect corporate telecom departments to identify tools and knowledge resources that address clients? ever-changing needsDevelop and deliver promotional on-line webinars to promote awareness and to foster and facilitate industry networking on relevant telecom management topicsPartner with the Marketing Manager to identify user groups and other audience markets that will benefit from promotional on-line webinarsDevelop tutorials for products and knowledge base resourcesSupport help desk support, contract negotiations, RFP, MACD and dispute resolution projects as requiredContribute to growing Telecom Solution Center?s business

 The minimum skills required for this position include:

 

? 3-5 years of corporate telecom experience

? 2+ years of training experience

? 2+ years industry research experience

? Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

? Advanced experience with Adobe Acrobat

? Outstanding written and presentation skills

? Existing knowledge of the industry and corporate telecommunications environments is required

 

Travel requirement ? 10% to 25% as required.
