Telecommunication Customer Service Specialist

Job Purpose:
Serves customers by providing product and service information; resolving product and service problems; and scheduling field technicians. Provide on-site customer training. Provide in-side sales. Provide support for other team members.

Duties:
* Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.

* Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.

* Provide on-site customer training for new installations and as needed by customers.

* Schedule field technicians; maintain field schedule and prepare paperwork as needed.

* Sell and support maintenance agreements for existing customers.

* Sell and support central office telephone and data services.
