Position Summary

Under general direction, responsible for general maintenance and administration of the equipment and circuits. Tests, adjusts, and troubleshoots equipment as necessary. Acts as a vendor liaison during installation, rearrangement, and/or removal of equipment. Works with personnel at remote locations to identify system/network problems at those locations.
 
Monitors network integrity and systems health, reports status and makes recommendations to management. Monitors trouble tickets and performs necessary actions to resolve issues
Maintains accurate documentation for procedures and inventories. Appropriately retrieves work orders to manage voice systems adds, moves, and changes process. Provide timely status reports on activities performed, user requests, and potential issues. Provides 24 x 7 on-call support. Some Cisco certification preferred.
 
High School Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Some Cisco certification preferred. At least three years of telecommunications experience required. Knowledge of Cisco and Nortel networking hardware. Broad knowledge of telecommunications. Proficiency with MS Office and Window operating systems.
