Telecommunications Engineer
Job Description: Will survey and design passive connectivity solutions to meet customer voice and data requirements. Install & maintain the infrastructure. Assure that all Configuration Management processes are completed. Interface with customers on service calls to ensure customer satisfaction. Identify and report network data or phone port capacity deficiencies, safety issues, or security violations. Performs Quality Assurance Inspections during and after work completion. RCDD certification and experience with Inside & Outside Cable Plants (ISP/OSP), Telecommunications cabling standards (voice, data, video - UTP, Coaxial, Single-Mode, Multi-mode fiber optics, ISDN, Ethernet, CATV, CCTV, etc.), and Cable Management (Installation, Operations, and Maintenance) required.
