Technisource is looking for telco engineers to perform VoIP installations in the Phoenix, AZ area for a 9 month project. There will be two teams assembled, Readiness and Conversion with each consisting of a Telecommunications engineer and a Field Technician, that will be doing VoIP installation visits for a major financial institution. Currently we are looking for a Readiness Telecommunications Engineer.
REQUIRED:
Cisco Router and Switch knowledge
Familiarity with Telco Circuits:
Circuit Identification: T-1, ISDN
PREFERRED:
VoIP/IPT Implementation Experience
Cabling: Extending Dmarcs, blocks, and runs
Test Plans
Job Description:
Engineer will perform VoIP Installations in Financial Institutions. Job duties include overall responsibility for site work, router installation and configuration, deployment of IP phones, executing test procedures, equipment decommission, interfacing with support personnel and end-users, site documentation, and site clean up.

Excellent PC & MS Office Suite Skills
Must PROVIDE own laptop w/MS Office 2000 or better and digital camera (Camera Phones are not acceptable)
Procedure and paperwork equally as intensive as on site duties
Superior ability to work with time constraints and timelines and to meet strict deadlines
Personal, RELIABLE transportation A MUST
Willingness to travel 50% within state a MUST
Typical work week will consist of work M-F and possible travel on Sunday
Flexibility to work nights a MUST (2nd shift)
Must pass background and drug screening
Candidates must live within 30 miles of the Phoenix, AZ area
