We currently have an opportunity for a TelecommunicationsNetwork Administrator to join us. This position will be responsible for primary support and administration of global telecommunications infrastructure with additional responsibilities associated to network infrastructure. Support to include hardware and software support and troubleshooting of equipment and associated applications.  Incumbent will also be responsible for day to day activities supporting user tasks; moves adds changes and administration of call center ACD. Incumbent will also provide emergency and routine support to troubleshoot and resolve issues to systems relating to both telecommunications and network infrastructure.

 

Responsibilities:

 

? Administration, support and maintenance Nortel Option 11c PBX, ITG, VOIP

? Administration, support and maintenance of Symposium 5.x Call Center System and server, Call pilot voicemail.

? Troubleshoot issues relating to telecommunications and network infrastructure hardware and software

? Perform day to day moves, adds, changes associated with phone sets, directory and ACD

? Develop and provide traffic analysis and call metrics

? Develop documentation of telecommunications equipment and services to include inventory and configuration.

? Partner with Senior Network Administrator on special projects and ongoing support and maintenance of global data network infrastructure

? Coordinate and manage resolution with end user and other IT teams

? Travel as necessary to support global locations

? Participates in strategic planning and development associated with future telecommunication and network design, performance, and capacity management with other teams and business functions.

? Additional responsibilities including user and desktop support as needed

 

 

Qualifications: 

 Specialized telecommunication training specific. Nortel certification in Meridian, Symposium Call Center Server, Call Pilot, Optivity Manager strongly desired.4+ years administering and maintaining telecommunications systems including installation, configuration, performing moves, adds, changes on Meridian phone systemsStrong proficiency in Symposium Call Center 5.x and Call PilotExperience in supporting ITG, VOIP and signaling serversProficiency supporting Cisco networking equipmentExcellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skillsProven ability to work on projects and support clients either individually or on a team
