Responsibilities: Individual is responsible for the deployment, ongoing maintenance, and support of a wide variety of Solaris and Linux applications. Participate effectively in an on-call environment to maintain a high level of systems security, availability and performance. Flexible schedule; may be required to work days, evenings, nights or weekends. Occasional travel may be required. A high level of customer satisfaction for internal and external customers is required. Install, upgrade, and manage Linux and Unix hardware and software Administer and monitor user access to the systems. Support for application software releases and updates. LI>Assist with automated backup and restore processing. Management of Corporate common network services, i.e. DNS and DHCP services.



Qualifications: Knowledge of Operating Systems including Linux, and Solaris Knowledge of network services: DNS, DHCP, NFS, SMTP, NTP, SSH and Samba. Knowledge of back up & recovery. Experience with shell scripting and Perl programming. Superior verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Strong problem solving skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to meet deadlines.
