Alliance is currently seeking Technical Project Managers (VOIP) for a top client in Bothell, WA. These are contract opportunities that will thru the end of 2006.
PROJECT:
This position is for a Technical Project Manager to work on Call Center upgrades required for VOIP conversion. Areas covered will range from upgrades to facilities (HVAC and power), Network upgrades including re-cabling of 24x7 facilities, and deployment of VOIP to the agent desktop.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Manages all aspects of projects throughout the infrastructure and software development project lifecycles including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change
? Translates project requirements into project objectives and tasks, managing task assignment to
Project resources and reporting on and managing project scope throughout the lifecycle.
? Develops detail project schedules, resource plans, status reports and contributes to the effectiveness of a team that integrates multiple functions/disciplines.
? Interfaces with all areas affected by the project, including end user, services organizations, vendors and implementations partners.
? Review project deliverables for accuracy and apprises management of issues effecting project status and offers solution to solve the issues.
? Ensure satisfactory transfer of custody and control of product upon completion (handoff) and close all project documentation and archive appropriate records
? Follow standard processes and procedures necessary to produce the deliverables from the team and project.
? Confidently makes presentations to small to mid-size audiences
? Act as liaison between all functional groups.
? Develop lessons learned documentation
SKILLS NEEDED:
Minimum 3 years experience in project management with proven history of successful project management within the a fast paced technical environment, Minimum 1 year in Call Center experienceDemonstrated track record of successfully delivering infrastructure and software development projects, including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and changeUnderstanding of facilities, network infrastructure and applications within the call centerAbility to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments with little directionTechnical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous deliverablesStrong communication skills, both written and oralMS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio)Able to manage projects of average to complex projects independentlyWell-developed leadership skills in a matrix organization structure
