VP Business Development & Marketing

Automotive Technologies Inc. is the parent company of the Wireless Zone franchise chain, which has more than 250 Wireless Zone locations throughout the northeast, Mid Atlantic and Florida.

 

We have an immediate opening for a Director of New Business and Technology Development. This newly created position will help our growth in the technology arena in the US, as well as South America. We have begun to implement a VOIP service and have an immediate need for a qualified individual to launch it, as well as begin research on other products that would grow our company.

 

Job Purpose:

* Improves market performance by identifying and justifying new technology; developing implementation plans. Responsible for New Business Development and Marketing Strategies in Youth Oriented & Targeted MVNO Services, Voice and Video IP.



* Initiate full Nationwide and South American launch, of Digo VOIP, Sales, Operations, marketing and advertising, from our offices in Middletown CT.



Duties:

* Identifies viable new products/technology by completing market research and competitive analysis. Directs business development operational strategies by analyzing trends; researching manufacturers, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; resolving problems; implementing change.



* Justifies new product/technology development by completing return-on-investment analysis; developing pricing strategies.



* Prepares new products/technology for launch by developing marketing plan.



* Merchandises new product/technology by developing and implementing advertising, promotion, and sales training programs.




Skills/Qualifications:

* Product Management, Supports Innovation, Vision, Competitive Analysis, Marketing Research, Pricing, Product Development, Developing Marketing Plans, Advertising Plan, Customer Service, Financial Planning and Strategy.



* BS in Marketing / Business,



* 10 Years background in Marketing & Sales Management

 

* Fluent use of the Spanish and English language both verbal and written.

 

* Travel is required
