Vendor Relations Specialist

We are looking for a Vendor Relations Specialist with excellent negotiating skills, managing 3rd party vendors, and purchasing experience.  Must be a team player. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

- Find and recruit new vendors for Inside Wiring subcontracts and Equipment Systems maintenance and support.

- Negotiate terms with vendors including pricing, communications, billing, etc.

- Negotiate final Master Service Agreement working closely with Granite?s Legal department.

- Create and organize vendor file and input all vendor information into Granite?s database.

- Act as a liaison between vendors and Granite departments such as Inside Wiring Dispatch, Auditing, Legal and Sales to work out any disputes, conflicts, new policies or any other changes.

- Establish reseller, agency or dealer relationships with Equipment Suppliers working closely with legal and purchasing to execute relationships.

-  Create a procedure for and work with sales team or Premier Rep to request proposals or bids for special projects from vendor.
