Position Summary:
Establish full time and occasional video broadcast services in a 24x7 environment using all or some of the following resources: fiber, domestic and international satellite, various forms of compression systems and video broadcast standards. Provide lead technical support to resolve highly complex discrepancies and/or quality of service issues and if necessary initiate restoral procedures on any and all services insuring minimal service interruption. Coordinate and schedule services on the behalf of customers utilizing available resources for maximum efficiency for the customer and company. Act as the team leader when on duty. Assist the junior staff with additional training and assistance in the course of daily activities. Be the primary interface to clients when resolving discrepancies or the coordination of special events. Assist the Manager of Video Services.

While permanently based in Ellenwood, Georgia, position will work out of the Washington, DC office until mid-2007.

Minimum Requirements:
Two (2) years college or technical school; 1-3 yrs. experience; ability to work varible shift schedules in support of a 24x7 operation.

Maintain a broad knowledge of all products, services and VOC procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) years college or technical school; 1-3 yrs. experience; ability to work varible shift schedules in support of a 24x7 operation.
The ability to read and understand operational manuals for various video broadcast and broadcast test and measurement equipment. Ability to cope with high pressure situations. Ability to effectively use a computer. Good communications skills. Commercial experience in a VOC environment. Knowledge of Tandberg equipment desired. Domestic or International uplinking and downlinking of broadcast digital video signal and quality control analysis. Ability to convey complex technical issues equally to earth station technical and non-technical individuals. Ability to work comfortably with customers who speak English as a second language. Excellent organizational, multi tasking, prioritizing and teamwork skills.

Required Skills:
