Voice Communications Analyst

Responsibilities and Duties:

This position will be responsible for the daily administration support for the client's voice systems in North America.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Technical administration support for all voice systems located throughout North America
- Programming, configuration, and setup of telephone sets and adjunct equipment, feature buttons, coverage paths, speed dials, hunt groups, call-pickup groups, attendant console changes, etc.
- Creating, maintaining, and deleting of voicemail subscriber accounts
- Coordination with outside vendors to complete Telecom MAC and wiring requests in a timely manner
- Preparing system standards and process documentation
- Maintaining a high standard for customer support
- Maintaining a positive attitude, and projecting a high level of professionalism

Basic Qualifications
- 2-4 years of related experience with an understanding of Telecommunications fundamentals
- Proficient in the administration and support for Avaya?s Definity PBX platform
- Experience in administering the Octel 250 / 350 voice-messaging platform
- Candidate should be proficient with cross-connect wiring and punch downs
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Must be able to interact with all levels of management including the Executive staff

Preferred Qualifications
- Avaya PBX and Octel voice messaging certifications and/or experience supporting other vendor?s platforms would be considered a definite plus
- Avaya call center administration and routing skills considered a plus
