About the Position

Provide skill in identifying and resolving non-routine, advanced product and service problems. Experienced in trouble shooting and isolating problems, or malfunctions, then recommending and implementing solutions. A detailed knowledge of equipment testing procedures, techniques, test plan development, and test equipment operation, voice/data communication technologies, PBX peripheral equipment feature, functions, specification, operations and interface requirements are required. The Senior Field Engineer will have the ability to perform complex system upgrades and additions without assistance. Eight years telecommunications field engineering experience involving PBX, voice mail, UAP, IVR, digital and analog trunks.

 

Qualifications

NEAX 2400 IPX. NEAX 2400 UMG. NEAX 2000 IPS. NEAX 2000 IVS. NEC wireless applications. NEC UAP applications. NEC OAI applications. IVR applications. Digital trunking (ISDN, T1 and PRI. Centigram voice mail. Active Voice mail. Computer applications and operation systems to include Windows, Unix, NT and Linux. Cisco Systems, Switch, bridges and router proficient. Experience with Cisco System Wireless applications. Some travel within the Nevada, Colorado and Arizona areas. Willing to be on-call 24 X 7 X 365.
