Responsibilities: Responsible for technical administration of the servers and Active Directory for our Corporate network. Work closely with the Desktop Support staff to help support the business operations of Covad Help the department achieve continuous improvement by implementing industry best practices for Service Management. Installation and maintenance of our Windows environment (hardware and software) Providing Tier 2 support for our Call Center platforms Documenting processes and procedures Providing Tier 2 support for our Desktop Services group Managing our Exchange 2000 / 2003 environment Developing technology solutions for office productivity.



Qualifications: Experience as an Exchange 2000 and 2003 Administrator Experience developing TCO models for desktop support Visual basic or scripting skills Windows 2000 or 2003 MCIE preferred Experience with ITIL or MOF. Knowledge of Linux administration or network administration Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Strong analytical skill and attention to detail Ability to work independently on numerous activities and prioritize them properly while meeting deadlines Ability to work well on a team Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience, certifications, or training 5+ years of experience with Windows System Administration
