Wireless Sales Engineer

SinglePoint Mobile Media North-America, recently acquired by Wireless Services Corporation, is an interactive media company that develops and implements innovative mobile applications based on cross-carrier premium messaging capabilities. We currently are providing our services to content providers, major media and marketing companies on television, in print, on the web, as well as, for major consumer products. Examples of mobile applications could be text messaging voting and sweepstakes, ringtones, wallpapers, games, and streaming video. The applications are supported on all major U.S. carrier networks.

The position will support implementation of new and add-on services for SinglePoint clients, and help address problems with existing services

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

? Respond to requests from Sales, Deployment and Account Managers

? Provide technical solutions to customer problems

? Respond to situations where services don?t function as expected (example: bug in text service data feed)

? Respond to implementation challenges (example: customer needs non-standard scheduling setup, and solution is too complex/time consuming for the Deployment team to handle)

? Helps Sales define appropriate solutions (which solve customer problems in the simplest possible way),

? Service Engineering is an internal function focused on delivering what has already been sold.



Education/Experience/Abilities:

Requirements include:

? Broad knowledge of mobile communications and mobile services

? Deep knowledge of mobile data communications, mobile messaging; 5+ years of hands on experience

o Specifically : Must be able to define or modify the technical implementation of services in our mobile messaging gateway/ billing infrastructure / media platform after maximum [2] months

? Attention to detail, quality minded. Responsible for own results (will not be micro managed)

? Proven ability to multi-task under pressure with excellent follow-through

? Ability to work efficiently with clients, to understand issues, discuss options and present solutions

? Flexible, sometimes very long hours

? Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

? Previous experience in a start-up environment preferred.

? 100% service minded, making sure customers are served

Computer Skills:

Familiarity with MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, maybe Visio, Internet software
