NAMCO is expanding and seeks 3 experienced Buyers one for each of the three following product areas:

 

1)  Patio Furniture, Housewares,  Trim-a-Tree, Accessories Buyer

2)  Toys and Hardware Buyer

3)  Sporting Goods Buyer (Game Table experience a plus)

 

 

Candidates need a successful track record in:Analysis, identification and development of new products.Sourcing merchandise through new and existing vendors, trips and tradeshows. Dealing with Domestic and Overseas vendors.Developing profitable product category assortment.Negotiating with vendors and make profitable buying decisions.Create and establish business plans for product categories.Analyze market and develop open to buy budget in each category.Business plan execution.Process and track purchase orders.Develop marketing strategies.Assist in developing retail merchandising product floor plans.Providing our customers with the superior value and quality.

 

 

Required Capabilities:Analytical, planning, execution and negotiating skills.Creative problem resolution abilities.Travel 20%
