Job Summary:

The Buyer?s primary function is to create, process and track the purchase orders placed between FRI (Fox Racing, Inc.) and its vendor base.

 

Production Planning:Work with development to create seasonal vendor allocation planWork with Planners to create seasonal production plan at vendor and style levelCommunication and confirmation of production plan at vendor levelWork with Planners to monitor and modify seasonal production plan on a monthly basis

 

Vendor Management:Creation and input of Purchase Order?s (PO?s) into Fox Main Transmission of PO?s to vendor baseMaintenance of Fox Main with updates on all Purchase Orders detailsSolicitation of Work in Process (WIP) reports from all vendors on a regularly prescribed basisControl and monitoring of PO?s per WIP reports with vendor baseCommunication of WIP tracking information to appropriate people inside Fox organization Monitor and enforce adherence to Fox Vendor Manual Process Claims for non-compliance issues with vendor baseCreation of vendor performance ?Report Cards? on a seasonal basis to all vendorsEstablish and communicate vendor performance goals to all vendors on a seasonal basis
